Toddlers’ Group
Mission
The Saint Maur International School Toddlers’ Group provides a venue for parents to bring their infants and under-school age children to play together once a week in a safe environment. It also offers an opportunity for parents from Saint Maur and the international community to meet and discuss common concerns in a relaxing, friendly environment.
Rules and Regulations for Members
For the safety of all children and consideration for all adult participants:
1. Each child must be accompanied by his/her parent at all times while participating in Toddlers’ Group activities.
2. A child should never be left alone or in the care of another parent while participating in Toddlers’ Group activities. (For example, if a parent must go to another part of the campus temporarily, she should take her child with her and not leave the responsibility of supervising her child with another parent as this is not conducive to a safe, relaxing environment which is promoted by Toddlers’ Group.)
3. In case of an emergency situation, where a parent is not able to supervise her own child, she must receive permission in advance from the Toddler’s Group coordinators and/or the school Administration, to allow another person (friend, babysitter, guardian) to supervise her child at Toddlers’ Group. In emergency situations, efforts will be made to accommodate the parent’s request. In such a case, the request must be presented to the coordinators or Administration in writing, clearly indicating the name of the individual who is responsible for the child, as well as a statement releasing the school and coordinators from any liability in case of an accident.
Please help us run the Toddlers’ Group with your child’s safety first and foremost by abiding by the rules and regulations. If at any time you are unsure of the procedures for a particular situation, especially if it is an emergency situation, please contact us in advance.
